The course’s structure is based on the “standards of competence” defined by ELA - European Logistics Association for logistic and related fields professionals (purchasing, inventory, planning, warehousing, transportation and distribution); the course analyzes in depth the logistics and supply chain activity. Structure: The course covers 60 hours, 5 sessions of 12 hours: 4 hours on Fridays (4 - 8 p.m.) and 8 hours on Saturdays (9 a.m. - 6 p.m. with lunch break). Location: Bucuresti, Hotel Caro, Str. Barbu Vacarescu 164A. Course’s price includes: course materials, 3 months of access to the e-learning, additional materials, coffee breaks, lunch on Saturdays, "Supply Chain Management: From vision to implementation" book, by Fawcett, Ellram, Ogden. The access to the online e-learning platform helps course attendants learn and present case studies and applications.
At the end of the course attendants will know how to:
- detail the strategic approach at the level of the organization within the logistics and supply chain department;
- establish objectives at the level of logistics and supply chain department and create specific instruments and performance indicators for reaching the goals;
- define operations and processes effectiveness with benefic results for internal and external clients;
- organize the logistics and supply chain department as a profit centre efficiently using financial, human and material resources within the organization;
- define personnel efficiency within the logistics and supply chain department and create the appropriate personnel structure for the department’s activity;
- define the efficiency of operations and processes within the logistics and supply chain department;
- define performance indicators;
- analyze, using specific managerial tools, the efficiency of the results obtained, both internal and external, in the organization.
