Courses

We can be a real support to our partners through:

  •  “in house” courses,
  •  training/improvement courses.

The attendants can be: people that develop their activity in these fields, people that intend to achieve the necessary competences to work in a company where the main activity should be developed and also logistic and distribution company managers or executives.

Objectives

  •  Understanding and practicing the basic notions presented, notions with immediate  practical applicability
  •  The impact of logistics and supply chain management, with all its components, over the profitability and success of a company;
  •  Describing the specific functional elements involved;
  •  Describing some modern methods and tools for analysis and audit for implementing and optimizing the SC;
  •  Using quantitative analysis and applying them within the current activity of the company;
  •  Advantages and disadvantages for the “Make or buy” decision;
  •  Getting familiar with all the main evaluation, monitoring and improvement tools for
  • performance.

“In house” courses are organized under the form of simple personalized sessions or complex integrated systems, adapted to the realities and needs of each organization.

Training/improvement courses are presented under a standard format that cover the whole logistic chain and take place during 60/72 hours, and being destined to logistic and adjacent fields managers. These courses analyze the basic notions and concepts from logistics and adjacent activities to offer attendants a better understanding of the whole system, of the procedures and functions developed in this field.

The course modules are:

  • “Logistics and Supply Chain Management”
  • “Purchasing and Stocks Management”
  • “Warehousing Management”
  • “Transportation and Distribution Management”
  • “Operations Management”

These courses structure is based on the “standards of competence” defined by the European Logistics Association - ELA where, Adriana Palasan is a permanent member in ECBL (European Board Of Logistics), the organization that defines competencies and standards in logistics at European level.

During these programs the attendants use case studies, projects and simulation sessions to apply their knowledge into practice.

The courses will be finalized by an examination, followed by, in case the exam is passed, the issuing of a professional training diploma.
